Praying for the Community

Prayer Walk

by Gabriela Bravo | March 2, 2024 5:11 PM

As we handed out the upcoming schedule for the holy week of the Methodist Carlos Wesley church, we had the blessing of being able to pray for others in the community. God works in the simplest thing and we know He will continue to bless this community and we will hear the testimonies.

Prayer Walk

Prayer Walk

by Amanda Montanez Santiago | March 2, 2024 5:20 PM

This afternoon we put to practice in a prayer walk some of what we have been learning during the weekend. It took me back to how Jesus would create individual relationships with people by simply approaching and talking. We overthink and complicate our lives when it comes to imitating Christ and it’s actually so simple. Things like this prayer walk to make people feel seen and heard, cared for. That’s what Jesus wants us to do when He says to love our neighbor.

Nightly Devo

Sunday Worship

by Marielys Zayas Vega | March 3, 2024 5:30 PM

Today we have the opportunity to do our devotion time outdoors in this beautiful scenario. We are in front of the cross which reminds us of the sacrifice that Jesus made for our salvation. This is an awesome way to close our staff retreat.
