After arriving in D.C. late on Saturday night we attended church at Embassy Church on Sunday. We enjoyed getting to know the members of this church and worshipping with them!

On Sunday afternoon we went into the heart of D.C. to see some national monuments. We got to see the MLK Jr Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, and WWll Memorial.

This afternoon, after serving at Martha's Table, we lead worship at David's Tent. It was an amazing time of worship and praise!

Today we got a chance to serve the elderly in the community. We split into two groups to serve two amazing people. My group got to clean this wise ladie's house! It was amazing hearing her speak about God's goodness!!!

On Wednesday morning we partnered with Seasbury Resources for Aging. This group worked on raking the yard for an elderly woman.

This morning we served with Food for All DC. We had a blast! It was so cool getting to know the long term volunteers who had been with Food for All DC for over 10 years!

On Thursday night we went downtown to see some of the Washington DC sights lit up. It was a great way to end our week!
