Good Shepherd United Methodist Church

We are in Guatemala safe and sound. Our first stop is to eat and be ready to go and serve alongside Iglesia Casa de Oración. 

We had the opportunity to join the Youth Service tonight and worship the Lord with them.

This morning we went to visit the Mayan ruins of Iximché, what an incredible experience to learn more about the culture. 

Yesterday afternoon we shared with the local church in the Sunday service learning about patience and waiting on God.

On our first day of projects half of the group was in the food distribution ministry and we enjoyed sharing the gospel and encouraging the brethren of the church to abide in God.

This morning one of the groups painted the church temple Casa de Oración. We learned that there are many ways to worship and serve God.

On our last day of ministry we had the pleasure of visiting the home of Sister Lorena. She is an example of a heart of service to God. She guided us to each house we visited this week in the community. Gracias por recibirnos!
