The team made it in after some delays yesterday, but they made it safely! It took more than 15 hours of travel but Scottsdale Christian Academy arrived and hit the ground running! So excited to see what the Lord does with this team!

Part of the team stayed behind at Wintergarden Presbyterian Church to help out with some projects on the grounds. Some of them painted, while others collected trash and other debris left over from the Hurricane. Others found themselves putting cardboard boxes in the dirt and soaking them with water before dumping mulch on top. They didn't know it at the time but they were actually repairing the church's garden, which they use to grow much of the food that is distributed by their food pantry. It was a good lesson that sometimes a seemingly mundane task can have far greater impact than we may ever know!

Our team is out spreading the word about natural disaster relief. It’s a great opportunity for us to pray with the surrounding community and spread the Gospel! Please join us in praying for this community and our work.

Over the last two days we had the opportunity to help a few South Florida residents by cleaning up storm debris. It was hard work but it felt great to see the results when we were done. The students also prayed for the homeowners before we left each home.

We finished up our time on Thursday at Wintergarden Presbyterian Church by assisting with the food distribution. We loved making friends with the other workers and we especially loved giving smiles and food to the customers. Hundreds of families were blessed by this effort.

Today we said our goodbyes and parted ways! We prayed as a group one last time. The Lord guided every step of this trip. We met who we were supposed to meet and ministered to them this week as well. Our team was the hands and feet of Jesus this week. It was an amazing week!
