We made it to Fort Myers!

We are so excited to be here and work with our ministry partners this week! We are eager and ready to start working and serving the Lord!

After lunch at Anthem Church, a group of us went to the beach for an afternoon of fun and relaxation before the work week started.

We got a good start to our morning by gutting and mucking houses. We can’t wait to see how the Lord continues to work through us this week! 

During our evening debrief on Sunday we were asked the question “Will you go without knowing?”. As believers, we often don’t know all the details but we do know that God is good! Ultimately our desire is to see Christ magnified in our lives!

Today we are serving alongside a local food pantry! 

Community Cooperative has an incredible impact on their community! They do everything from supporting meals on wheels, to providing food for local schools, to providing social work aid for families, and so much more! They even set up a P.O. box so that when people are trying to get in their feet they have an address to write down! This is truly an amazing outreach and we are so excited to partner with them!

As we finished out our day of mucking and gutting we ended by praying over the home owners who lost there home along with their car. We got to hear their story and listen to the hope that God has given them for the future! 

Today we walked downtown Fort Myers and handed out water and snacks to people who needed them. We got the opportunity to pray over some people and witnessed just how strong the power of prayer is. The lord is doing a mighty work in us and through us this week. 

We’re continuing to work on these houses and we’re on the home stretch!
