CS Lewis Academy

The team has made it safe to Belize. We enjoyed our first meal, Rice and Beans, which was delicious! We are looking forward for an amazing week.

Today we had the opportunity to visit the school in Douglas village. We first started with a skit that taught us to sow in good soil. Then we enjoyed leading songs and games.

We are working at the park in the beautiful village of Douglas. We are painting and fixing the swings. We can’t wait to see those big smile on the kids while they swing. 

We feel so blessed to be serving and sharing the gospel alongside with River of Life Baptist Church. Since the first day we felt that warm welcome from the church. Pastor Mai has been working alongside us to accomplish the work project . Today we enjoy some time with him.

The project in the village’s park is looking great! The last touches are still to be done. Thanks to this work, the kids of the community of Douglas will be able to have fun and enjoy playing at the park. We are so happy that we will be putting smiles on their precious faces. 

Altun Ha is a Mayan Temple in Belize. We learned some history and got to explore more about the culture in Belize. 

Children are a gift from God to be raised and nurtured with true care and compassion. Being kind and honest about God’s word will encourage them to one day seek a relationship with God. A positive hope can help them flourish into becoming strong, kind and tenderhearted adults one day. 

We went to visit more families from the village and prayed for them. It was touching to hear the stories from the families that we visited.

This has been a life changing trip. The community of Douglas has been so welcoming and kindhearted from the beginning to end. We thank God for the relationships and the connections that were made. We are surely blessed for all that God did this week.
