FBC Athens and First Frisco Youth have come together to serve the community of Barahona at the Casa de Gracia church, led by Pastor Ruperto. By combining their resources and talents, they aim to make a lasting impact on the lives of the people in Barahona.
These missionary groups, motivated by their shared faith and commitment to service, are working hand in hand to address various needs in the community. Their diverse skills complement each other perfectly from construction, VBS, spiritual guidance, and food distribution. Together, they demonstrate the power of unity and collaboration, transcending geographical boundaries and cultural differences. They are grateful to the community of Barahona for their warm welcome and look forward to leaving a positive, lasting impression while building bridges of friendship.
Let us join hands with these incredible groups and witness the transformative power of love and service in Barahona.

Today we were in the town of Bahoruco helping to build a church in that place. Pastor Ruperto made a commitment to the pastor of that church in Bahoruco, He is helping and supporting that community.
If the Lord does not build a house,
then those who build it work in vain.
If the Lord does not guard a city,
then the watchman stands guard in vain. (Psalm 127:1)

Vacation Bible School at Pastor Ruperto's church was an exciting and enriching experience for children of all ages. One of the highlights of this VBS was the captivating storytelling session about the timeless tale of David and Goliath. As the children gathered around, their eyes widened with anticipation as they listened intently to the story of courage, faith, and triumph against all odds.
To add an element of fun and engagement, music was brought to life by lively puppet performances. The kids giggled and clapped along as the puppets energetically sang songs related to the story, making the lessons even more memorable. Through the combination of visual storytelling and cheerful music, the children not only learned about David's bravery but also felt connected to the biblical narrative on a deeper level.
At the end of each session, the children had the opportunity to participate in a hands-on craft activity. Guided by dedicated missionaries, the young artists were encouraged to create their own crosses, symbolizing the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for humanity. With vibrant colors, glitter, and their boundless imagination, the children poured their hearts into the craft, knowing that their creations would serve as a reminder of Jesus' love and sacrifice.

We continue to bless the Bahoruco community with day two of the construction of a temple for that community. Every time we arrive in that community, the members of the church await us with extraordinary joy and brotherly love.

The pastor took us to Batey 2 so that we could also bless that community with the distribution of meals and VBS with the children of the area.

Thank God that we were able to make a lot of progress in these three days of construction in the Bahoruco community. The members of the church felt incredibly grateful for the work carried out by the missionaries.
