The We Belize In Him team arrived safely in Belize excited to serve alongside with their second family, ready to tackle the week filled with ministry and service for the Lord.

As soon as the team touched down in Belize we visited Liberty Children's home where about 60 kids are housed. They first gave us a tour of the area and we got to see where the children stayed, then Zack grabbed his guitar and we sang worship songs that they requested. Before leaving we took time to hang out with kids to connect with them more.

Later in the evening each family in the team spent time with families from the church at their different homes. They had dinner made by the Belizean families and took time grow closer through quality time and fellowship.

To start off the first ministry day we had a beautiful morning service! Lauren and Brian shared their testimonies. The team joined with some of the church members to lead praise and worship.

While the worship team was practicing, the other members of the team took a visit to Rootsville to visit the families in the area and reunite with other friends.

We also took time to go grocery shopping for the food bags that we are planning to bless families with this week.

At the end of a full day, we visited the Central Assembly Of God in the city because it is the world day of prayer. The worship team was able to minister again while we all took time to pray for Belize and the world with the members of the other church.

At the beginning of the day we visited Buttonwood Bay Primary School to do VBS with the kids. The team was split into groups and did different activities in the classes. This group did story time. They spoke about the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and got the kids involved by making them play the three men. Later on we'll see what the other groups did in the other classes.

After lunch we got the food bags ready to be distributed. We were able to get 30 bags ready for 30 families.

It's always a blessing to visit this community because of the strong bonds formed. Being able to bless them with the little things such as a grocery bag and show God's love through this makes each time even better.

This morning we joined the first and second formers of Nazarene High School for their chapel service. We had an amazing time of worship and the spirit was definitely moving in the room. We also had a panel discussion where some of the team members got to answer some questions that the kids had.

After leaving Nazarene we went straight to Buttonwood Bay for day 2 of VBS. One of the other groups did a puppet show with the kids. Our two friends "Monkey Bwai" and "Shelly Belly" taught the kids to love each other in different ways and most importantly love Jesus.

After lunch we headed over to Central Christian School to do a service with the kids. We did games with them and they were able to win small prizes. We had some more fun by singing songs such as pharaoh pharaoh and a favorite, the banana split.

Ending a ministry packed day, we spent time with the men and women of the church that we're partnering with and also some friends from the Roothsville community. The men had a cookout and the women had a spa night. it was such a blessing being able to get closer to each of them during this time.

Today was the third day of VBS at Buttonwood Bay Primary School and another group did some arts and crafts with the kids. They spoke about Galatians 6:9, teaching them if they do good things, they will reap what they sow. They made necklaces writing good things they do and bad things that they struggle with, reminding them about the good and being able to work on the bad.

Tonight in Bible study, we first led worship and we were able to usher the Holy Spirit into the room. We discussed Psalm 23, learning more about the verse and digging deeper into the verse. The main point was that God has to be our Shepherd in not just one thing or some things, it has to be in everything.

Early this morning we once again joined Nazarene High School's chapel service but with the third and fourth formers. We spent time in worship, prayer and we also did a panel discussion but with different questions that the new set of kids asked.

Today was the last day of VBS and the final group did different games with the kids. They enjoyed games like Simon says, musical chairs and more. Having fun with healthy competition against each other is a way we really connected with them.

In the afternoon some of the members of the team got invited to be guests on a podcast that the church does every week called "SonRise Saturday". They talked about how it is being missionaries and all that comes along with it.

Ending off the day we invited some kids from Rootsville along with the kids from the church for a movie night. We took this time to just sit and enjoy quality time with them.

During all that was happening this week, some of the men spent most of their time in Rootsville helping families with their houses. Some families were left without a home because of the hurricane last year and they appreciated every little help that the team gave them.

This morning we spent some more time at the high school by having some fun activities. In this activity shown, someone was blindfolded while one person was guiding them through the obstacles and others were being a distraction trying to throw the person off-guard. This was done so that we could teach them that we may have many distractions in life but we should have our focus on God, our one and true guide.

Every year we spend our last day in Rootsville because the area and it's people are very close to our hearts. We had an amazing time singing, dancing and just enjoying each others company. We brought back our friends "Monkey Bwai" and "Shelly Belly" and also the famous banana split, It's always bitter sweet when it's the last day but we know it's a "see you later" and not just a goodbye.
