Trinity Baptist Church

We landed safe and sound. It's day 1 of the amazing week we have ahead. We are ready to serve in the beautiful community of San Fernando. 

This morning during services, the whole church prayed over us and over all the ministries happening this week. 

We did a spanglish worship service. Brinn and Will used their gifts for the Lord.

In the Sunday School we shared and we learned about the miracle of multiplication, how God used five loaves of bread and two fish to feed 5000 people ! 

"..they all ate and we're satisfied.."

Matthew 14:20

After hearing Pastor Emanuel and Maricel's testimony, we had the opportunity to pray over them and their ministry.

After we got the supplies we needed, we took some time to pray over each bag and each family who will receive them. We prayed for them to see and feel God's love and care through this ministry.

We were able to visit families and prayed over them! A bag will fulfill a physical need but prayer will get them close to God! 

At the construction site, we worked together to set the sewer in the right place for the new bathrooms! 

Today was a blessing. We had the opportunity to visit different families of the community and  share a little bit about how much Jesus loves them.

Another part of the team stayed behind at the church and did concrete work. Team work makes the dream work.

Everyone had so much fun playing together and hanging out. The church becomes a safe place for everyone-kids and grownups. 

We had the opportunity to help Pastora and the children. We had packed those boxes in the States for years but never were able to be part of the joy of kids opening them.

After VBS, we went to the community soccer field to play. Some locals came over and we played a match. 5-5

During the last day of Ministry, we had so much with the kids of the community of Sam Fernando, that included some dancing. 

We tried to teach how to blow bubbles to small kids, not a success, but they love playing with bubbles and trying

After a day of resting and a week full of service, fellowship, and the Love of Jesus, we are heading home.
