Cherry Hills Upper School

We are here safely in Libertad, Belize! We’re so excited to be back and can’t wait to see how the Lord will move throughout the week! Check back for more updates. 

This morning we visited Libertad Methodist School and shared devotions with each class. The students and teachers received us with open hearts and embraced our return to their school. 

Today we worked on the sanctuary's roof. It has been leaking for some time and we helped with this project. 

"He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord". Today we keep this verse in our hearts as we prepare grocery bags to share with the families of Libertad. 

Yesterday was our first day of VBS and soccer camp is the BOMB! Libertad kids love soccer. Looking forward to tomorrow! 

Today is our second day of crafs and Libertad children had a blast while working with their creative ideas for their crafts. 

This week we have the privilege of blessing a couple families with food. It was such an honor to be able to put these bags of food together for such a worthy cause. 

We were able to present the gospel of Christ to the children of Libertad through The Play. Our kids portrayed the gospel of salvation with a skit and the kids love it! 

Today, on our last visit to the school, we had the great experience of learning about the Garinagu people in Belize. We had the opportunity to play the drums and dance to the rhythm of the Garinagu music. What an awesome experience! 

Today was our last day of VBS and our crafts group made their masterpieces! It has been so much fun and a great blessing to share our time with these kids. We love them so much!!!
