We started out our trip with a visit to San Xavier Del Bac Mission, which is a Catholic church and school in the middle of the desert. It was under renovation, but still fascinating to see.

Annually one of the partner churches hosts a flea market fundraiser. The proceeds support the Tuscon community. This team was taking a short break after sorting floor tiles.

One of the jobs at the flea market storage area was sorting metals to sell. This team removed all pieces that were not metal.

We were honored to serve with Mike at Serve Tucson. The group worked very hard on beautification projects as Tucson prepared for "Cyclonia" cycling event.

One team stood outside a high school and shared about Jesus as school dismissed. They also beautified the front of the school by picking up trash.

Some of us got creative with Blessings Rocks. We painted rocks and wood cut outs to increase faith and hope for people in Tucson.

The students distributed the Blessing Rocks in a neighborhood in need of the hope of Jesus. This neighborhood by the grace and planning of God, happened to be where the mother of our Group Leader lives. A group of students were able to go in and pray with "Grandma Sandy." They prayed for a break in the rain together and then after lots of hugs, walked out into a break in the rain for the opportunity to go on to bless high school students. Such a wonderful God Moment!

This morning we got up early to travel to Colossal Cave. It was the first time many of the students experienced touring a real cave. They loved the adventure and asked great questions! Spent some extra time here visiting with other guests about Jesus.

Mr. Tom shared his salvation story with our group after working around Desert Sky UMC. His powerful story of death to life and healing from Trauma to help others was very inspiring.
We are grateful for the inspiration that the "Gospel starts with Go".

Two teams continued to beautify Tucson. At one of the sites they interacted with a local group of students who cleaned up the school with them.

There are many ministries in Tucson that work together to grow the Kingdom of God. As we work to support the Flea Market at Desert Sky UMC we were reminded of the many groups and organizations who are encouraged and supporting local church and para church organizations!

We were all very excited to celebrate Cole's 13th Birthday! We loved surprising him with a special birthday treat and we were all grateful that he spent his birthday serving Tucson with us on his special day!
Happy Birthday, Cole!
