Cornerstone Prep

After we arrived, we had lunch and then took a 3-hour drive to the community where we will be serving this week.

After we settled in, we had dinner and then we had an orientation meeting.  We shared a little of ourselves. And prayed for God's guidance for this week.

We started the day with an awesome church service with all the church people. We enjoyed worshiping with them. We also introduced ourselves to the congregation.

We enjoyed being around the kids for Sunday school.  Playing games, singing songs, and assisting with what the church leaders wanted us to help with.

Meanwhile, some of us were with the kids, and some of us were with the youth. An awesome message was shared by the youth leader. It really made an impact on our life.

After we had lunch we went out in the community to invite people for church service and VBS.

Wow! What an amazing neighborhood church service we had tonight along with the local church and our team with God's presence moving in our midst. Being witness to people accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior was the Godly moment of the day.

We started the day with a delicious breakfast. After breakfast, we started scraping the paint off the slide so we can paint it this week.

While some of us were working in the playground area the rest of us were cleaning the church's windows, sweeping the floor, and cleaning the benches.

It is an honor for us to serve the host church in whatever they need and in whatever we can help.

We also got the opportunity to help the teachers with the preschoolers. We read them stories and sang some songs with them. It was amazing.

Wow! We were amazed by the number of kids that assisted at today's VBS. We had 120 kids that were ready to learn God's word and have fun. We sang some amazing songs, we taught them the moves and we did them together.

The kids were divided into 3 age groups. We did a bookmark with the Bible verse of today's story. Also, some of us gave the kids a Bible study for them to know more about God's word and who God is.

The kids were ready to play with us. We enjoyed playing with these nice children of God.

Building something that we know the kids will enjoy makes us so happy.  We built a swing and some seesaws. 

We sanded the edges of the material so that it is safe for the kids to play around.

A sports night was organized by the host Pastor at a School Auditorium. We had different sports. We had an amazing time tonight. 

Today was a blessed day. We got to go to the beach in Placencia. After that, we went to the church to have a delicious dinner and got the chance to paint the preschool playground. We started VBS at 4 pm. Today there were approximately 140 kids, so we had an increase in size compared to yesterday. We taught them new songs. It was amazing!

Yay! The youth night was amazing. We gathered together with the youth from the church and had fun with them. We had a blast playing games, and singing songs. Praise the Lord!

Our friend from the team, Lily, shared a testimony with a message. It was awesome. 

The local church youth leader played some awesome games that we liked. They were teamwork games. We enjoyed them.

Having an opportunity to bless families with a bag of groceries was a blessing for us too. Knowing that there were people that were asking God for a blessing of food, and then God sent us to take that blessing to them was so overwhelming.

We blessed in Prayer the bags of food so that it would be a blessing to the families that will get them.

We took the food bags to the families that were in need and they asked for prayers so we prayed for them.

Meanwhile, some of us were finishing painting the playground while the rest of us were painting a logo on the front wall of the church.

It is very beautiful.

Wow! We had the best day of our lives playing with the kids, singing songs, and also teaching them a Bible lesson, but the sad part was to say goodbye to them since it is our last day of ministry. 

The pastor and the church did a special surprise dinner on a private beach. The food was delicious. 

We gathered together and prayed for Pastor and the local church that were present, we prayed for God's blessing and guidance to him and the church.

After we prayed pastor and the church members also prayed for us, for blessing and safe travel. It was hard saying goodbye.

Today we headed early in the morning to Belize City to take the water taxi for us to go to an Island called Caye Caulker. We had the opportunity to feed the Tarpon fish and then we went snorkeling on the second-largest Barrier reef in the whole world. Our last stop was swimming with the sharks and stingrays. It was an experience that we will never forget.

We had a last meeting before we had dinner.  We gave our highlights for the week and prayed. We had an amazing week.

It was an amazing trip we had, lots of ministry and fun together. ? 

It was a sad goodbye. This was an unbelievable experience we had. Seeing how God worked in our lives was so amazing. Until later Belize. We will miss you Belize.
