Belmont University

We made it to Seattle! Our host church has a great set up for us right in the heart of the city. Looking forward to an awesome week here working with local churches. So grateful for safe travels and awesome first day exploring the city!

Our first day on mission started with trash pick up in Bell Town! Thanks to Coastline church we were able to organize our team to cover and clean up lots of ground before lunch! We also took this time to pray over the city and the people of Seattle. 

We had an awesome day on mission in downtown Seattle! Our team picnicked under the space needle for lunch after a busy morning picking up trash in Bell Town. We’ve been enjoying every second learning about this city and the people in it! 

We’re off to a great start this morning back in Bell Town. Thanks to our connections with Coastline church we’ve been able to paint over graffiti, do more trash clean up and work in some landscaping! An awesome start to this day in mission! 

Today while serving at coastline church several of our girls set out to beautify the building by cleaning its many windows. Looking good ladies! 

After an awesome morning serving we had a super cool ferry ride over to Whidbey Island. We enjoyed some quality time together exploring the National Parks and dipping our feet in the Pacific!

Today some of us got the pleasure of cooking and serving the men at the Union Gospel Mission - men's shelter. 

A few of us today got to sort donations at a warehouse for Union Gospel Mission! We had an awesome time getting to know the awesome staff and giving them a hand with clothing and linen donations.  We loved being able to spend the whole day with them and pray for the warehouse before we left.

Tonight we ended the day by singing the praises of our God. It is so awesome to have two different universities from different states coming together to worship God. 

Serving lunch at a local men’s shelter was  awesome for our Belmont Team! Preparing and serving lunch gave us a great opportunity to get to know some of the most welcoming and coolest guys out there. 

Belmont is leaving Seattle. Their impact is so evident and we are so happy to see the joy brought to this city! Being prayed over before the long travel day ahead was an awesome moment for both colleges on this Seattle team.
