Pastor Orman and many of the church members were waiting for us at the church when we arrived! We greeted one another, and we are already practicing our Spanish!
We ate some delicious dinner and are off to bed after a VERY long travel day across the world and country of Costa Rica!

In the afternoon, we had time to meet the children of the community. Many of them, regardless of the language barrier, played a lot with us. Kids are the best to form genuine friendships.

We've had a blast playing soccer and running around with the kids at VBS! It’s been such a blessing to be able to spend some time with them these afternoons and receive all their love in return. We love them so much!

This morning, one of our groups visited a home up the road that goes into the jungle. The drive was beautiful! We gave them the food bag and prayed for a man with a broken leg. He encouraged us in our shared faith!

For food distribution today, we spent time with each cook. We were able to hear about their faith and stories, pray for them, and bless them with a bag of food. They have been working hard preparing us delicious meals all week, so it was great to spend intentional time with each of them!

We heard about some amazing things that God has done in this family during food distribution!
All week we have been blessed and challenged by the homes we have visited. Many times, the people we visit have taken time to encourage us, pray for us, and give us advice.

We were so sad to say goodbye to all our friends during the goodbye celebration dinner, but we enjoyed our time of fellowship and had some time to share our highlights with the church members!

We drove out to Manzanillo beach for our last day! This is one of the most beautiful beaches in the country, and we walked through the national park that protects it.
After a fun afternoon, we had our last dinner with pastor's family and some community kids before saying goodbye. We drove through the night to get to the airport, and we are on our way home. We are tired, but our hearts are full!

We had the opportunity to swim at this gorgeous beach on Manzanillo and be amazed at how amazing God's creation is, including some sloths, birds, and hollow monkeys.
