Faith Baptist Church

After a very long day of travel, we have final made it to Slidell!! We can wait to serve the community of Louisiana.

Today after church we got to enjoy a delicious meal provide by Christian Fellowship! We can’t wait to go out and serve the community this afternoon!

This afternoon we are out in the community spreading God’s word to the people who are lost!

Today we have a few different projects to work on around the church we are partnering. One of the jobs happening is that we are digging a ditch to prevent flooding around the church. 

This morning we are partnering with Keep Slidell Beautiful. We are helping spread mulch in a flower bed and around a playground to make it safer for the kids!

After a long day of hard work, we stopped on the way back to church to get snowballs! They were so delicious and refreshing.

This morning we are packing bags at Open Arms Church to pass out to the community of Slidell! We can’t wait to bless families with these backpacks full of school supplies.

This afternoon after filling all the backpacks, we had the chance to pass out the backpacks to families and share the gospel while doing it!

Tonight we got to share the gospel with one of the leaders at Opens Arms and the result of that was he gave his life to Christ! We were so excited for him! We came on this mission trip to evangelize and it really shows how effective that can be.  :)

This morning we are out taking a swamp tour! We can’t wait to see all the wildlife out here! 

Today some of our guys finished up digging the trench to make the flooding around the church not so bad! We have enjoyed getting to partner and serve with Christian Fellowship of the Nations!!

Tonight we finished off a great week eating at Deanie’s seafood restaurant! We had an amazing time getting to serve this week in New Orleans! it will be a week we won’t forget.   :)
