Bethel Church

After a day of travel, the team is here safely! We are looking forward to serving the community this week and seeing God move!

This morning, we were blessed to fellowship with our brothers and sisters at Safe Harbor Baptist, our partner church! We had awesome worship, a good word on Church unity from Pastor Mark, and a few donuts (don’t make us count how many!) that they blessed our group with.

After the service yesterday, we came together with our new friends from Bradshaw for a time of prayer over each other and the week ahead. It was a beautiful moment of fellowship and a beautiful symbol of Ephesians 2, which Pastor Mark spoke on this morning!

VBS Day 1 was a hit!! We had so much fun teaching these kids about how God made all creatures with love, but He made humans in the image of Himself - which means we ALL have value and are loved in His eyes.

We repainted the sign in front of Safe Harbor Church. We hope this will attract people’s attention and bring them to the church! Pastor Mark and the congregation have been great to us. 

Today was an incredible close to an incredible week of ministry. In the morning, we had our last day of VBS - which saw more kids and tons of excitement. Then, in the evening, we helped our host church hold a block party for the community. It was full of hot dogs, games, and a beautiful time of worship and a devotional!

We’re sad to be leaving soon, but we’re so glad for the moments God blessed us with this week!
