Cherry Hills Church

We made it to Memphis! After some time getting settled in our home for the week, we worshipped and had our orientation meeting. We went over the week’s plans and met some new friends. 

Tomorrow we will worship with our host church- The Fellowship of Believers in Christ and are excited to experience a service with them!

On Sunday we had the opportunity to attend the Fellowship of Believers in Christ Church and experience a different way to worship God. It was so beautiful to see the excitement and joy they had for the Lord! 

Today we have the opportunity to visit the Civil Rights Museum. More updates to come!

The rest of the Civil Rights Museum was incredible! However, we weren’t allowed to take any photos- but ask us when we get home about the things we learned! 

After the museum, we went and cooked spaghetti for Calvary Rescue Mission- a local homeless shelter. After dinner, we had the opportunity to lead their chapel service. Kamden preached, Morgan played piano, Jacob prayed, and Ethan shared his testimony. It was so beautiful!

Today we spent the day at Memphis Athletic Ministry and got a chance to play with kids from a local neighborhood. We played basketball and sharks and minnoes. We worked on science and art and reading with them too. We learned about how they did things and showed care and love as we served. 

After a fun, and challenging week we are headed home! Ask us about our trip and continue to pray that the Lord moves in us and through us!
