Christ Chapel Bible Church

After a beautiful day of traveling, we have made it to Memorial Baptist in Houston and are ready to serve! 

Before our first night of rest, we decided to kick off our trip with a fantastic word from Pastor Ethan and giving the Lord some praise through worship! 

This morning we joined in on Sunday school with the Memorial Baptist Youth. We talked about obedience and how important it is to walk in total obedience in our relationship with Christ.

Tonight we were able to partner with one of our partner churches for the week and prayer walk the community. It was great to pray over the community for all that they are believing God for and to see the students on the team put their faith in action by not only just praying over the community, but also praying for people in the community that we interacted with.

What a great way to end a great day!

Today we are on our way to the Houston Food Bank to serve our local Houston community! 

The assembly line begins! We are here full of energy, giving the food bank warehouse all that we have got! 

This afternoon part of the team spent some time pulling weeds from around the air conditioning units at one of the churches we are partnering with. This will help prepare for another project we will be doing there later this week. The team worked really hard and it was great to see the progress that was made. 

Meanwhile, another group cleaned behind the stage at MBC and moved some furniture around so that the church leaders could concentrate on the youth camp that is taking place this week. Even these little tasks can prove to be so meaningful to church leaders as they have so much on their plates this summer. 

Today we are at Impact Houston distributing food out to the local Houston community! 

Today half of our team served at Loaves and Fishes soup kitchen while the other half of the team served in a different location. We are able to prepare and hand out 400 meals to the homeless if downtown Houston. What a blessing it was to be the hands and feet of Jesus and be a blessing to so many in that way!

It was great to see the students put their faith in action as they handed out the meals to the homeless community today.

After a morning of very hard work, we got to kick back at the Galveston beach! Sandcastles! Waves! & Fun! 

Today we got the privilege of spending our morning at the Houston Faith Center where we got to help distribute food to our local shoppers!

This morning we were able to bless the Life Bridge family by doing some projects around the church. We pulled up some old plants, painted one of the rooms, and moved some furniture out. It was a great way to bless the Pastor and church. 

This afternoon, we partnered with Lifebridge Church in operating a free car wash and prayer!

This morning, even though it is our last day, the mission never ceases to be a great one! We had another amazing service morning at Houston First Faith Center! Distributing food, prayer, and more! 

We also served again today at Loaves and Fishes where we were able to show the love of Christ by serving the homeless community with meals. Shoutout to one of the students who lead the prayer today before we handed out the meals.
