This morning we're learning about and cleaning up Seven Seas Beach in Fajardo. We thank Natalia Robles who works for the local government for planing this.

Today we are joining Iglesia Defensores de la Fe Villas de Loiza in their Sunday service. It’s an honor to be able to worship alongside church members despite the cultural and language barriers. We are happy to listen to the message they have prepared for us, as well as, share some of our testimonies with them.

This morning some of us are at Iglesia Bautista de Jerusalén with pastor Samuel worshiping with our brothers and sisters from Puerto Rico. Our Trip Leader David preached about missions since it was a Missions Service.

We are doing a prayer walk around the community of Loiza. It’s a blessing to get to know members of the community like Ana and take time to pray over their petitions.

In the afternoon we did a Prayer Walk. Such a great experience being able to meet the community and pray. At the end we prayed over Pastor Samuel, his doctoral thesis and the ministry happening this week.

Last night after service and the prayer walk we enjoyed a nice treat by getting ice cream. The best fried ice cream in Fajardo.

Ani is a church member of Pastora Ana and today we get to paint part of the house. Due to some health conditions she can no longer do some of this work so we are more than happy to help paint and be the hands and feet of Jesus!

Today we are studying the story of creation. We are doing this with a debate. We are splitting the groups into two, mixed with the other Pelican group that's working in the area. Some of our students are very competitive so we are eager to participate and have fun!

Today begins our second day of mission work. The group that's with Pastora Anna will be working at two houses. One of these is Cisita's house where we are hearing her testimony about her faith in a God that has been her rock through the hard times. Now we are getting ready to help paint her house.

We are working at a house in the community here in Guzman Abajo Comunidad Bartolo in Rio Grande. We are painting Sisita’s house. She’s an elderly lady that needs the help. She’s very grateful and gave us coconut sweets and hand-sown face masks as her way of saying thanks.

It's a big project at Natasha's house but we have divided ourselves and are starting to make way through the house. We only have today to do as much as possible so we want to transform this house so that this family has a nice house for their kids.

Today we are visiting an elderly center and spending time with its participants. We are having a great time dancing, and playing goofy games and dominos. We are happy to be able to hear their stories and bring smiles to their faces.
