Canyon Hills Community Church

After a small travel hiccup, we finally made it to Jackson!

We are so excited for the full week of ministry that's ahead of us!

What a full day!

We had a special time at church this morning as we fellowshipped and worshipped with our host church. It's so cool how, despite the differences in the service, we serve the same God!

After church and a delicious Mississippi meal of catfish and hush puppies, we went to Sam's and Lowe's to purchase supplies for the week. We can't wait to get started!

We feel so humbled and excited to be able to serve at Tree of Life this week! This summer, this home will open up to the women of Jackson who are experiencing hopelessness, poverty, and addiction.

It will be a place for them to come and receive the love and peace of Jesus. We are spending the next few days putting a fresh coat of paint on the walls. 

We are also taking some time to prep and clean up the backyard. 

We completely finished painting the Tree of Life! It was an honor to work alongside Kevin and CareCenter ministries to get this beautiful home in top condition. We are especially thankful for the opportunity to cover the home in prayer as the missionary family and the women move in this summer.
