We’ve Arrived!

by Jake Headley | July 24, 2022 8:26 PM

We arrived safely at Amazing Grace Fellowship Church to a church picnic. We are so excited to be here and see what God has in store for this week!

Demolition Day

by Jake Headley | July 25, 2022 10:48 AM

This morning, we are serving at Hero House, a local recovery center and ministry that recently went through a fire. We are helping with the demolition and reconstruction process. It has been amazing to see the faith of those who operate this ministry and the joy they have despite the circumstances.

Stone by Stone (Slab)

by Jake Headley | July 25, 2022 1:19 PM

A wise person once said, “When you hit a stone wall, remove the stones one by one and use them to build a path.” Today, as we tear down the slabs of sheet rock, we are so grateful to get to learn more about Hero House and help them in their renovation process.

We Have A Birthday!

by Jake Headley | July 25, 2022 5:43 PM

This evening, after dinner, we took a moment to celebrate one of our youth leaders whose birthday is today. We are so grateful for him and can’t wait to see what God does in and through him in the coming year!

Beaming in the Hills

by Azarian Bennett | July 25, 2022 7:58 PM

Today we got to help a member of our host church fix their foundational beam under their house! This home has been up for generations, and it was a privilege to be able to partner alongside this family in keeping life-long memories alive!

Dry Wall Outta Here

by Azarian Bennett | July 26, 2022 9:45 AM

Day 2 of demolition day! We are gutting this house piece by piece, ripping out the rest of the dry wall and kicking down the ceiling! It’s awesome to be able to be a part of something bigger than ourselves to bring glory to the Lord!

Taking Time to Listen!

by Timothy Alexander | July 26, 2022 11:00 AM

After a great time of worship, during our debrief meeting, we were able to hear the testimony of how God chose to call Pastor Matt to Amazing Grace Fellowship and hear his heart for the people of this community.

Plumbing the Depths

by Jake Headley | July 26, 2022 2:59 PM

This morning, some of us joined our host pastor to help install new drain pipes under the house of one of the church members. It was such a blessing to come alongside both the pastor and congregant and serve them.

Rolling Along

by Jake Headley | July 26, 2022 3:13 PM

This afternoon, we joined the pastor at another congregant’s house to paint her ceiling. It was such a joy to get to serve her and share stories with her while we worked.

Joy Even In The Rain

by Jake Headley | July 27, 2022 11:48 AM

This morning, our whole team is serving at a local faith-based sober living facility. Some of us are cleaning out their garage. Listening to the stories of those we’re serving alongside, we are seeing that we can have joy in Christ, even in physical or spiritual storms!

A New Floor for New Beginnings

by Jake Headley | July 27, 2022 2:15 PM

Throughout the day, some of us laid new vinyl flooring in the dorm rooms at the sober living facility. We are so excited to know that this project is serving to give people a new beginning in the new life in Jesus they find here.

A Week of a Lifetime

by Jake Headley | July 29, 2022 12:23 PM

Before we left, we stopped at Ace Adventure to go whitewater rafting on the New River. It was the perfect ending to an amazing week. God has moved in our team and the church this week, and we can’t wait to see what God will continue to do!
