¡Estamos listos! Después de nuestra parada en Miami (que casi perdemos el vuelo) ¡llegamos a Puerto de España! ¡Se siente como en casa, y la brisa ligera es Jesús confirmando que esta es Su voluntad! ¡Después de dos años de planificación, estamos abiertos a Su voluntad y a acompañar a las iglesias locales de Trinidad! ¡Vamos!

We are ready! After our stop in Miami (where we almost missed the flight) we arrived in the Port of Spain! It feels very much like home, and the light breeze is Jesus confirming this is His will! After two years of planning, we are open to His will and to come alongside the local churches of Trinidad! Let's go!

No hay mejor manera de empezar nuestro domingo que en un servicio en la iglesia local. Un tiempo de experimentar la adoración a la manera de Trinidad y Tobago lo hace.

There is no better way to start our Sunday than at a local church service. A time to experience worship the way Trinidad and Tobago does.

Tuvimos la oportunidad de compartir la adoración en español como lo hacemos en casa, porque ya sea que lo hagamos en inglés o español, siempre adoramos al mismo Dios.

We had the opportunity to share worship in Spanish as we do at home, because whether we do it in English or Spanish, we always worship the same God.

Esta mañana nos dividimos en dos grupos, y tuvimos la oportunidad de compartir en ambas iglesias. Una bendición poder servir a nuestros hermanos de Trinidad y Tobago.

This morning we divided into two groups, and we had the opportunity to share in both churches. It was a blessing to be able to serve our brothers from Trinidad and Tobago.

Hoy tuvimos la oportunidad de compartir el evangelio en el vecindario. Tuvimos la oportunidad de predicar y orar por las necesidades de las personas.

Today we had the opportunity to share the gospel in the neighborhood. We had the opportunity to preach and pray for the needs of the people.

Un momento muy hermoso cuando Soleil tuvo la oportunidad de cantar una canción que traería confort en el momento adecuado para la persona que lo necesitaba. Porque Dios siempre está presente en cada situación de nuestras vidas.

We experienced a very beautiful moment when Soleil had the opportunity to sing a song that would bring comfort at the right time to the person who needed it. Because God is always present in every situation of our lives.

Parte del equipo trabajo con los niños en la iglesia mientras el resto evangelizaba. Un momento muy hermoso, divertido y de gran aprendizaje.

Part of the team worked with the children in the church while the rest evangelized. A very beautiful, fun, and great learning moment.

Empezamos el día siendo parte de la cocina local, y disfrutando del delicioso plato local llamado Sada roti.

We start the day being part of the local cuisine, and enjoying the delicious local dish called Sada Roti.

Hoy tuvimos la oportunidad de compartir testimonios y una palabra de motivación con nuestros hermanos de Venezuela. Un tiempo de mucha conexión cultural.

Today we had the opportunity to share testimonies and a word of encouragement with our brothers from Venezuela. A time of great cultural connection.

Eric ha traído las herramientas necesarias para hacer cortes de cabello gratis. Esto es parte del servicio para la comunidad.

Eric has brought the necessary tools to do free haircuts. This is part of community service.

Parte del grupo tuvo la oportunidad de apoyar las clases esta mañana. Fue un tiempo especial con niños que requieren atención especializada.

Part of the group had the opportunity to support the classes this morning. It was a special time with children who require specialized care.

Masajes terapeutos es parte del servicio que el equipo está ofreciendo. Desde ya personas se están haciendo presente en la iglesia para recibir un masaje.

Therapeutic massages are part of the service that the team is offering.  People are already showing up at the church to receive a massage.

La disposición de servicio va más allá que cualquier barrera, y está disposición es la clave para una conexión genuine.

The willingness to serve goes beyond any barrier, and this willingness is the key to a genuine partnership.

Después de haber visitados hermanos de Venezuela en diferentes vecindarios, hoy se logró hacer un servicio para ellos. Nos alegra haber recibido más de 30 personas venezolanos en la iglesia.

After having visited brothers from Venezuela in different neighborhoods, today a service was held for them. We are glad to have received more than 30 Venezuelan people in the church.

Después de un tiempo de alabanza y predicación, concluimos el servicio con un tiempo de oración muy especial.

After a time of praise and preaching, we conclude the service with a very special time of prayer.

Estamos muy emocionados de escuchar de parte de los pastores locales los planes de parte de la iglesia para continuar alcanzando a la gente de Venezuela de la comunidad de Río claro.

We are very excited to hear from the local pastors about the church's plans to continue reaching out to the people of Venezuela in the community of Rio Claro.

Continuamos sirviendo a los niños, esta mañana tuvimos la oportunidad de regresar al colegio para apoyar con un programa de enseñanza bíblica a los niños.

We continue to serve children, this morning we had the opportunity to return to school to support a Bible teaching program for children.

Buscamos cada oportunidad para poder servir, ya sea a través de un corte de cabello, enseñanza bíblica o una masaje terapéutico. Nuestra meta es servir.

We seek every opportunity to serve, whether it be through a haircut, Bible teaching, or therapeutic massage. Our goal is to serve.

Más de 60 niños venezolanos participaron en la escuela bíblica de vacaciones. Una gran oportunidad para presentar el evangelio a todas las edades.

More than 60 Venezuelan children participated in the Vacation Bible School. It was a great opportunity to present the gospel to all ages.

Se logró hacer el segundo servicio para nuestros hermanos Venezolanos, un tiempo de alabanza, oración e impartición de la palabra de Dios.

El pastor de la iglesia local compartió víveres con las familias venezolanos que con gran esfuerzo nos acompañaron por segunda vez en el servicio de la iglesia.

The pastor of the local church shared food with the Venezuelan families who, with great effort, joined us for the second time in the church service.

El dia de hoy decidimos conocer más de las bellezas naturales de esta hermosa isla. Un tiempo para tomar nuevas fuerzas y continuar haciendo ministerio.

Today we decided to learn more about the natural beauty of this beautiful island. A time to gain new strength and continue doing ministry.

El día de mañana tendremos la oportunidad de servir en otra comunidad, así que tuvimos que despedirnos de Río Claro, el pastor Jack y la iglesia que nos acogió de una manera increíble los últimos días.

Tomorrow we will have the opportunity to serve in another community, so we had to say goodbye to Río Claro, Pastor Jack, and the church that welcomed us in an incredible way the last few days.

Sabes que hubo una conexión especial cuando todos quieren tomarse fotos.

Estamos agradecidos en gran manera con los hermanos de la iglesia Rhema Faith Centre. Ha sido un placer servido al lado de ellos.

We are very grateful to the brothers of the Rhema Faith Center Church. It has been a pleasure serving next to them.

Nos hemos movido a otra iglesia para apoyar el ministerio hispanohablante en la comunidad. Es muy motivador conocer la historia de la iglesia en la comunidad de Korea.

We have moved to another church to support a Spanish-speaking ministry in the community.  It is very motivating to know the history of the church in the Korean community.

Hemos salido a las calles para invitar a los niños a escuela bíblica y un servicio español por la noche. Aprovechamos cada oportunidad para presentar el evangelio.

We have taken to the streets to invite children to Bible school and a Spanish service at night. We take every opportunity to present the gospel.

Cada reunión con los niños, es una oportunidad para compartir con los Padres. Todos necesitamos aprender de Jesús.

Each meeting with the children is an opportunity to share with the parents. We all need to learn from Jesus.

Agradecemos al Señor todo lo que realizó esta semana. Estamos en el aeropuerto empezando el viaje de vuelta a Puerto Rico, con la satisfaction que realizamos todo lo que Dios nos envió a hacer. Sabemos que todavía falta trabajo por hacer, pero confiamos en que Dios seguirá dandole las herramientas a la iglesia local para continuar la labor empezada esta semana. Y quedamos dispuestos, si es la voluntad de Dios que regresemos en un futuro, para encontarnos nuevamente con los que con orgullo hoy llamamos nuestros hermanos. Hasta luego!

We thank the Lord for everything we accomplished this week. We are now in the airport starting our travel back to Puerto Rico, with the satisfaction that we completed everything God sent us to do. We know there's still work to be done, but we trust in God that He will continue to give the local church the tools to continue the work started this week. We remain in the disposition that if it's God's will for us to return in the future, we would be able to reunite with those we take pride in calling today our brothers. Until the next time!
