New Hope Pantry

by Katrina Hulme | April 6, 2022 1:28 AM

Most of our group was serving at New Hope's food pantry in Anchorage. Today was their distribution day, so we helped bring groceries out to cars, helped shop, and had some great interactions with guests.

We saw God at work through the volunteers and conversations - one woman even asked for prayer!

Alaska Medical Missions

by Katrina Hulme | April 8, 2022 3:32 AM

We spent our day serving at Alaska Medical Missions sorting supplies, moving boxes and pallets, and having some fun! This amazing nonprofit sends medical supplies to other communities and countries. While we were serving today, they received a request for some supplies to go to Ukraine and a few of us helped pack up those bags!

We also learned more about healthcare in Alaska and played with some of the equipment!

Heading Home!

by Katrina Hulme | April 11, 2022 7:07 PM

We are finishing up our evening with some souvenir shopping and dinner before we head to the airport. We are tired and excited to go home, but we are also sad to be leaving the beauty of Alaska! The friends & connections we made on this trip will go with us, and we are encouraged to think about the impact that God can make through our careers as nurses! Until next time, Alaska!
