The Fiery Followers

Today, our flight got canceled and we are going to travel to Ensenada tomorrow. We know God is in control and we are excited to see what He has planned for this week in Mexico. God is good!

We're finally in San Diego, yay! We're happy to be here and we're ready for dinner. Thank God for bringing us here, we know He is going to do great things this week.

Today we had our first day of food distribution in Ensenada! God allowed us to bless this man today, and we know this is more than a food basket, it's about an encounter with God. Keep praying for our team as we go in faith tomorrow to do food distribution again and hoping God would speak to the people's lives. 

Our team today decided to do a play on the birth of Christ. It was portrayed with so much enthusiasm that it got my attention too.

Our team was so into the play and we all had the Holy Spirit with and in us. Even the children put all their attention into the play.  God bless VBS!

Food distribution is one of the ministries we do in Baja California, and it's about buying food baskets for families in need and not only providing for physical needs, but also for spiritual needs.

We love getting to know the families we visit, sharing encouraging words, and praying over them. We also like to make it fun when it comes to our first step: buying the groceries. We make teams to buy at least two food baskets, so that means two teams, we give them a list and they have to run and get it all. The team that finishes first, wins! Today we started painting the fence of the church. We love being part of this project because we know it's going to make the church look beautiful. We're happy to serve God in this way!

Today we had our last day of doing ministry and our celebration dinner. What a day! We did lots of things and we laughed, danced, played, cried, and it was awesome!

We connected with the people we met at church and the kids that showed up to VBS. Love was our universal language. This day was very emotional because we said goodbye to everyone, but we'll cherish our memories together and we want to take this home and practice what we learned here.
