Fellowship Bible Church

Our team arrived in Tulsa safe and sound this evening! We got to play some games, get settled in, and prepare for an awesome week! Whoo hoo!

Today, we got to head out to Wesley Chapel for the first time. Here, we got to fellowship with the homeless community in North Tulsa and serve them. Also, we got to go ahead and make a game plan for the church camp they'll be involved with this week! 

So glad we got to hit the ground running today! 

We had an amazing opportunity to serve breakfast and lunch to the homeless community at Wesley Chapel. We did an amazing job serving and getting to pray over the people who came today. Feeling so blessed to get to have shared some amazing moments at Wesley today!

Today, over one hundred elementary students arrived at Wesley Chapel for summer camp! We had the chance to go through many fun rotations with the kids! Crafts were made, games were played, books were read, and chicken coops were put up.

All in all, the first day was a total success! We are feeling so blessed to have bonded with so many amazing kids (here are just some fun pictures with some new friends)!

First field trip! Today, we took the kids to the Gathering Place!! It was so fun watching everyone run wild and get to spend time outside. Today, we saw God work through our team. We saw them connect with kids and pour out God's love into one another.

Today we did some amazing work! We got to worship with the kids in the morning, play games, do ZUMBA,  and do math and reading with them! Wesley Chapel is teaching the kids so many important life skills! It was an amazing day! 

For the field trip today, we got to take the camp kids rollerskating!! We had so much fun teaching our buddies how to stay up and skate like a pro! We are so excited to see what God has in store for tomorrow! 

Today, rain struck Tulsa hard! So, everyone stayed at the church for rotations today. We got to read with kids, make fun art projects, learn how to make pizzas, do math, and do fun STEM experiments!

Overall, we got to do so many amazing things with the kids today! The campers got to hear from so many people today about God's love and sacrifice. It was such a blessing to share Christ's compassion with these kids this week and plant seeds of faith in their hearts!!

Today was our last field trip with the kids! We got to take them to the swimming pool since the rain clouds cleared. What a blessing because we had so much fun!! The kids were all so excited to be in the water and to be with so many friends. 

Now, we prepare our hearts for a hard goodbye. Tomorrow will be our last day with the kids. We are so thankful for this week, these kids, and for God's steadfast love. 

Today, we spent half our recreational day back at camp! We got to hang out and do so many of the fun things we have been doing this week. 

Also, featured here, are some pictures from some of the kids handing out the pizzas they made to the homeless. It was such a blessing to get this opportunity to serve in a simple yet impactful way. 

Today, the team had to say goodbye to the kids at camp. It was such a bittersweet moment because everyone was sad to leave but also excited to be a part of what God has in store for these kids. This week has taught us so much about God's gentle and loving hand. We got to display His light for others. What a memorable time that we will never forget! 

The team headed over to pizza, the park, ice cream, and more to finish off the day. THEN, we got to celebrate Khaki's birthday with cake, confetti, and a piñata!! It was so much fun to just have wholesome fellowship before the team heads out early tomorrow morning. What a blessing this week was.
