After a delay, we arrived safely in Puerto Rico. It's almost 11pm and we are tired but we are blessed to be here again serving in Puerto Rico!

Today we get to serve with Pastor Roberto and the church. It's great to be back here after 2 years and get to worship with our brothers and sisters in Puerto Rico and it was communion day.

We walked around the community praying for any who wanted it. We saw God's grace as we prayed over the community.

It's our first day of work projects. We have four houses that we are working on. This one is the house of Samaya and Paola. Their house has suffered damage from Maria and the roof has leaked. Today we start by pressure washing the roof so that then by the end of the week we can seal the roof. Pray for this family as we work alongside them.

We are helping Margie and Teresa clear out their garden. We can see how grateful they are for the work that is being done.

One of our groups is working at an elderly home to help with gardening and also talk with our elder folks. We are spending time planting and getting to know our brothers and sisters and hearing their stories.

We helped the church by clearing out dry leaves. The sun was showing us all of it's splendor so we had to make sure we where well hydrated.

Rosalie lived in New York for a long time. Between her English she was able to hold the conversation with Jessica and Mataya who got to know a little bit more about Rosalie and Victor. Mission trips are not just about doing work, but also making connections with people and loving them just like Jesus loved us first.
