Christian Fellowship Church Youth

We made it to Texas! After many hours in the car we finally made it to our destination! We are so excited to see how the Lord moves this week!

This afternoon we got to spend time in Fellowship together as we walked the Kemah Boardwalk! We also got to experience some true Texas humidity, haha!

On Monday morning we got to do some canvasing in the community for Life Bridge Baptist Church. We went to two different parks to pass out water! As we handed out the water we also offered to pray with people and handed them information about the church. God was so evident in all of the conversations we had yesterday! We are so grateful to partner with Life Bridge this week!

Monday afternoon we got to work at the Houston Food Bank. This food bank is the largest food bank in America. We got to package sweet potatoes to go out into the community, it came out to about 5,000 meals! This is such an incredible ministry to be a part of! We also had a lot of fun trying to guess the weight of each bag of potatoes.

This morning we went to Impact Houston. We were able to help distribute food to around 250 families! Impact Houston has many different programs that serve families, youth, adults and children, it was great to partner with this ministry and be helping hands as they help meet peoples physical needs! 

Thursday morning part of our group had the opportunity to go help and serve at Loaves and Fishes. We were able to give 340 people hot meals to eat! 

On Tuesday afternoon we had the opportunity to minister to the Deer Park community through our partner at Life Bridge! We got to serve by doing a drive-through prayer station as well as a free car wash! 

Back with drive-through prayer and car wash on Wednesday morning! When people asked why it was free, we pointed them to the cross! God gave us the free gift of eternal life through His Son, Jesus! Why wouldn’t we share that blessing with others?!

Wednesday evening we were able to go back to Impact Houston to distribute to even more families! Such a blessing to be a part of this incredible ministry! Thank you Jesus for sweet conversations through it all!

Thursday morning we had the opportunity to serve alongside Faith Center. This ministry meets families as a whole. They provide food, clothing, housewares, books, and even toys! More importantly they share the good news of the Gospel to every family that walks through the door!

Thursday afternoon we got to spend sometime at the beach! Such a fun and refreshing way to end a great week!

On Thursday evening we had a sweet time of fellowship together one last time. We shared the goodness of the Lord that each of us experienced. Thank you Jesus for an amazing week! See you later Houston!
