We arrived in Tulsa safe and sound! We are excited to see what God is doing with this community and to be a part of it this week. To begin our projects is exciting, but to engage in community relationships is even better!

We went on a supply run this morning to get all the supplies necessary for laying our garden beds. Our happy faces are not far from the truth!

The frames for the garden beds have been laid and the dirt and mulch were delivered. Each of us worked together as one body to get the garden beds laid as efficiently as possible.

We visited The Zone today which is where kids in the community come in the summer and throughout the year. It's a brilliant place with amazing staff members and even more amazing children. In this picture we can see Hannah hard at work keeping the kids busy. So amazing to see God's little ones in a place where they can learn and grow!

This morning we explored Greenwood, otherwise known as Black Wall Street. Even though it was raining on our heads we still walked the streets learning about the Tulsa race massacre and the repercussions that it had caused. We are hopeful at God's goodness and what He will continue to do to uplift this community!

We went out to dinner tonight with some of the church Leaders that are hosting us (they are on the other of the table). It was a great night eating pizza and continuing our fellowship throughout the day!

This is our last group picture in the morning before we left Tulsa. We had an amazing time and we are so thankful for what God has done through us and for this community!
