We all arrived safely in Tulsa along with two other teams who will be serving the same church. We are so excited to partner with fellow brothers and sisters and lift up the local church!
In this photo Pastor Sean and Pastor Kujanga are giving us a warm greeting and welcome to their church!

We were welcomed warmly today by our host family congregation! It was a great morning to just be with our brothers and sisters in Christ and share in the greatness of His open arms.

The painting continues - onwards and upwards! We are doing our best this morning to cover the walls smoothly in a fresh coat of paint. From the stairway up and around, and as well a room for nursing mothers and children! It is amazing to see how God can bring others together to build up His church.

It may be hard to see in this photo, but later in our day, we had gone to a place called The Zone! This is a place that Pastor Kujanga started where kids in the community come for the day. We had a great time hanging out in the gym and just creating relationships.

This morning we began overhauling the church's kitchen and doing some cleanup for them. Hopefully after which they can better utilize their kitchen and begin their vision of serving those in need in the community!

Today was our last day at The Zone! It was a great last day of spending time with these kids and sharing the same love that God has extended towards us. Here you can see Torin playing with one of the kids building an awesome blue lego house!

In the morning we went to the museum that just opened up and we learned about the racism that led all the way up to the Tulsa Race Massacre. It was a sobering emotional experience and it caused all of us to reflect more on this present day and what this kind of history should mean to us and our walk with God.

Here we are after the museum at Reconciliation Park! This was an awesome area where we got to roam around freely and read off of different plaques which were put in place for certain events involving race. It was great space to reflect even more on what others have been through!

This right here shows our real last day at The Zone! It was such an amazing time and we could feel each day how we got closer with the kids. We pray God's gospel will reach each and every one of these little ones.
