Big Rock Mission Team

After a long drive, the team has arrived at Winter Park Baptist Church.  We are excited for a week of ministry!

After an exciting Sunday service on the river, we checked out the location of one of our ministry partners for the week.  We are so excited to uplift this church with our work.

Today was a day of moving boxes, sorting food, and cleaning.  We got a lot done and received much help from our youngest team members!

Today we made big progress with our partner, the Anchor Church in downtown Wilmington.  So far we have done a lot of electrical work, ceiling prep, and painting.  We are excited to see what we can accomplish tomorrow!

After a productive three days at the mission sites, we had a really fun rec day.  We started the day by touring the Battleship North Carolina and then had lunch at Hell's Kitchen (a restaurant that ironically has a long history of working with local ministries).  After lunch, we headed to Wrightsville Beach for a few hours of sand and sun.  We are sad to have to end our trip tomorrow.
