Bethlehem and Hope Lutheran Church

This morning, we were blessed to get to attend service at LifeBridge Baptist Church where we will be serving this week! We get to sing the blessing of God and hear a message about our great Lord.

This afternoon we got to spend time with our partner group, learning about each other and growing closer as one cohesive unit. We explored Sylvan Beach, played a game of partner tag, and shared our life stories. 

This morning part of our team has the pleasure of helping out one of the senior members of LifeBridge with their gardening. What a joy it is to be working in Gods glorious creation! 

We had the great opportunity to be able to offer a free car wash to the community yesterday? We had a blast washing cars and sharing about our Lord! 

Today, we packed a total of 869 breakfast boxes, or 6,083 meals! We also put together and wrapped 50 pallets of food. This was a very successful morning at the Houston Food Bank! Now, onto LifeBridge! 

We’re out and about doing one of our favorite things: washing cars! Today we have a new group, a new approach, but the same cost! As Jesus loves us, so we love others, and we’re doing our best to spread that to the community! 

We were blessed to be able to get to do the Drive Through Prayer once again! We mixed up the teams, but the spirit is the same. We are thankful to meet such amazing people, and pray for them! 

We got started early this morning with some more car washing! Fortunately, God decided to help us out, and sent some rain our way! We had a great time singing His praises and growing closer together!

We’ve been hard at work putting up some drywall! And man, did we put that drywall up. It’s up on the wall, on the ceiling, and in our hair! But it’s looking great, and feeling greater! 

We had a fantastic week serving together. These two teams were so awesome at integrating with one another and being open! They have made friendships that will not be forgotten.
