We had our first Nicaraguan breakfast and tried the Gallo Pinto with chesse and plantain. It was so yummy!

Sunday Bible School!

We started the first day of ministry by studying the story of the Good Samaritan with the kids and youth leaders. We did some handcrafts, coloring sheets, word searching activities and drawing but the most importan things is that the story reminds us that we must love our neighbor like Jesus loves us.

It was very inspiring to hear Pastor Immer's vision and love for the community where he is working as a pastor. He has been obedient to God's call and he said that this week of ministry with us is an answer to his prayers. God is always faithful!

We had so much fun playing soccer with the kids from the community. We were able to make new friends and use the little Spanish that we know.

We were encouraged to always have God as our priority because He is is always taking care of us, loving us, helping us and providing for us.

Construction Project!

Today we started with the construction Project at church. We were digging  to install a sewer system. We made progress and we are excited to see the final result.

Another of the Project that the church has is the construction of a chicken coop. We worked hard this morning setting up the pillars to put the wire mesh.

VBS!!

We had our first VBS at Church.  We danced, played games, made new friends and learned from the story of Noah's ark.  It is great to spend time with the kids while we all learn that being obedient to God's call is always worth it!

As we work digging the ditch, we are also growing as a group, we are spending time with our friends and supporting each other at work.  As the body of Christ we must always work in unity trusting that Jesus is always in control and that we are the vessels that He uses to do his will.

We prepared four food basket to bless four families in the community of Cacahuli Somoto. Pastor Immer led us to the different houses to pray for the families and deliver the food.  We also were able to listen to their testimonies and how God has changed their lives.

After three days of digging we finally finished the sewer system project. This Project will help pastor Immer's family and we are glad to support him.

Today was the last day of VBS and we took advantage of it by playing different sports and games with the children.  It is very impressive to see the smiles on their faces and the love they have to learn more about Jesus
