We are so excited for this upcoming week in New England! Our team is getting ready to serve at the Providence Rescue Mission and help run a VBS for the kids of Vida Abundante! We are excited to see what God has in store for us this week.

We had service today at Vida Abundante. Pastor Santos was really excited to have our team join the church this week. He prayed over the team and the ministries we are going to be doing the next few days.

We had our VBS kickoff tonight. We had fun singing songs, doing crafts, and playing games with the kids. Pastor Santos was even able to meet some of the people of the neighborhood in the park and shared the Gospel with them.

We had the pleasure of being able to serve at the Providence Rescue Mission in the morning. It was a joy sorting through clothing donations as a team to continue filling their clothing closet. It was hot and heavy work, but amazing to know that we were doing Christ's work in clothing anyone in need.

We served at the Rescue Mission again today and while sorting through clothing we had an unexpected delivery. A delivery of chicken meat was delivered so we could set it out for the community! Within an hour it was all taken by different local families. We had such a God-filled day watching the Lord bless these amazing people.

Today we made sandwiches and handed them out to the homeless at the park. We were even able to pray for some people. We met a fellow who had gone through the recovery program at the Rescue Mission over a decade ago. Now this gentleman works for a local church. God is so good, and He takes care of His people. 

We had an amazing last day working at the Providence Rescue Mission! We finished sorting through an entire shipping container of clothes. It is sad to leave, but it was an enormous blessing to come and serve these people in the community as well as get to know them and how God has changed their lives!
