We arrived to this beautiful country - Dominican Republic, here we are with these amazing people. We can't wait to see how God is going to work this week.

This afternoon the team had the opportunity to walk through the community of Moca. They were able to meet some people and pray for them.

We went to the baseball field and enjoyed spending time with the kids from the community of Bonagua. The team connected very well with teenagers there.

While one group served with the kids in Bonagua playing a baseball game, another group served at a local elderly home in Moca. We sang, played volleyball with balloons and beachballs, painted fingernails, and we prayed and talked to many of the elderly. The sisters told us that many times families do not get to come out much to visit their parents and grandparents, so it was very special that we came out and spent time with them. We were able to share the love of Christ in a special way today.

This evening was super special as we witnessed someone who wanted to be baptized. What an amazing representation of his new life in Christ. It just happened to be his birthday also, and our independence day. Today we are celebrating Anthony's baptism and what it signifies. We are thankful for our freedom in Christ, the sacrifice He made for us, and the chance to be baptized in Him.
