Today was our first full day here in the Carolinas! This morning we arrived at the houses we will be working at for the week. The group pictured met their homeowner Cindy and got to work on installing drywall and going through damaged items from the flood. Other groups were able to work on insulation and flooring for the day.
After a long days work, we enjoyed pizza and a bible study together. We are excited to see what's in store for tomorrow!

Today we returned to the same house to continue drywall and mudding. We have seen great progress these past two days and are looking forward to going back tomorrow! After putting in some hard work we shared a meal with the other youth group we are staying with this week and reflected on our missions experience thus far.

Today was our last full day working with our homeowner Cindy. We worked on finishing up drywall and continued with the mudding and sanding throughout the house. It has been a wonderful time learning new skills and being in fellowship with one another. We will be returning to Cindy's home tomorrow for part of the day after sharing a meal with the remainder of our group in downtown Wilmington. We are eager for what this next day holds before returning home Friday.

Today was our last full day together in North Carolina. We started off in the morning by returning tools to Baptist on Mission and buying toiletry items to hand out after sharing lunch with a homeless ministry, Walking Tall Wilmington. After finishing our meal at a pavilion by the waterfront in downtown, we continued the remainder of our rec time at Carolina beach, about 15 minutes from the church we've stayed at for the week. To round off the day we ate at a local burrito barn called Flaming Amy's.
Please pray for safe travels as we return home tomorrow!
