Aloma Church

After 12 hours of driving, we arrived safely West Virginia! We’ll rest tonight to get ready for working tomorrow.

After church this morning, we were able to visit the New River Gorge and see how beautiful West Virginia can be. Later, we spent time getting acquaintanted with our Ministry Site for the week with Warm Hands from Warm Hearts and spending time building relationships with the local youth group.

We’ve been hard at work since 8am at Center of Hope, serving in big and small. We have all sorts of skills now! Construction? No problem! Mopping? Sorting Moldy bread? We got it! Sanding? Serena can handle it! 

Tonight, we served alongside Center of Hope to feed those less fortunate than us. We prayed with them, served them, and ate with them. What an amazing show of God's Love it was, and what a blessing to us to be able to serve them.

Our team knows how to have fun! We are prepping for a second night of serving food with Center of Hope. Isaac doesn’t seem to notice Mike’s photobomb!

Tonight we were able to perform in and view a concert put on at Center of Hope with local youth groups. Shout out to Gabe and K’Juan for performing!

At our final debrief meeting, we got the chance to affirm each other. Here, Pastor Rob complimented everyone on the team!
