Hola Puerto Rico!

by Christian Rivera Gonzalez | May 19, 2019 8:54 AM

We arrived at 5:15am, and went straight to bed. After some z's, we joined Carroll Christian Schools for some pinchos on the beach! They were very tasty. Afterwards we went in a ride around Old San Juan. We also got our last member that flight was delayed. Tomorrow we'll be participating on the church service. We are ready to do God's work!

Helping Missionaries

by Christian Rivera Gonzalez | May 20, 2019 11:33 AM

Today we are helping a team of Youth With a Mission. They are moving to a new campsite at the island. They have helped in the island after the hurricane,  but needed help themselves and had been praying for it. And God put us here! Such a blessing to bless others!

We start our day like this...

by Krystal Domenech | May 21, 2019 11:06 AM

Since early in the morning the team is already wearing gloves, machetes and shovels in hand. We are ready to work at this home in Trujillo Alto. A home with a single mother and two girls who need our help.

We start our day like this...

Hard work

by Krystal Domenech | May 21, 2019 4:20 PM

Like clearing a path, our group is working hard to clear a yard with machetes. Yikes!!! Beware of the K-Team (Kashaun and Kelli with machetes).

How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! Psalm 133:1

What a bless!

by Krystal Domenech | May 22, 2019 1:51 PM

Today's visit to the nursing home is a huge blessing. They are so happy. We enjoy spending time with them. We sang, read the Word, shared some testimonies and played some Puerto Rican games. And they prayed for us too. Thank God for this beautiful opportunity.

An afternoon in Rio Piedras

by Christian Rivera Gonzalez | May 22, 2019 6:50 PM

After we finished for the day, we got a tasty treat: puertorrican ice cream! Now we are walking around Rio Piedras town square. It is filled with a lot of murals of voices wanted to be heard.

by Christian Rivera Gonzalez | May 26, 2019 8:34 AM

Today, while we say our farewells,  we know a piece of Puerto Rico will always stay with us. We'll continue to pray for them, and if its God's will, we'll surely return! Until next time!
