Mitchell Catholic

We're ready to welcome our new friends from Mitchell, South Dakota. Our staff this week will be Adam, Adriana, Joe, Luisa, Dago, and Vanessa. Exactly zero of us have been to South Dakota so it's going to be a great week of learning. 

When I asked them what was the first thing they thought of when they think of South Dakota here's what they said...

Adam - "Do they have tacos there?" 

Joe - "Hanna Montana" 

Oh man, this is going to be a great week. 

After a long travel day the group arrived in Ensenada at about 8pm. Everyone is happy and healthy! We had a nice dinner, a quick meeting, and everyone is off to bed in anticipation of all the great things to come this week. Gloria a Dios!

After a good night's sleep... with a few roosters waking us up along the way... we are all ready for mass and a great day of ministry. 

It takes about 24 hours in Mexico to fully embrace the snack life here. Settling in nicely.

The team is starting work on the concrete pad at the Men’s home. 

How is the food here? It’s amazing! 

It was really fun to get together after a full day of ministry and catch up on our day. 

We decided to add another project and work on repainting these cabinets and replacing the countertop. 

Wrapping up our last day of dispencias. We love it when our students get into the grocery store and shop!
