Hope for Belize Is Here

by Michelle | August 4, 2012 11:04 PM

We made it! We are here! We got off the plane, met the PPM staff and went to Miss Dell's for BBQ chicken. It was the most tasty meal ever. After we went to Dorothy Menzie's children's home. We saw some children that we had met last year. It was so much fun playing games, painting nails and singing and dancing with all of them. Then we went to dinner at BIrd''s Isle and had amazing chicken fingers and juice. We had lots of fun getting to hang out and learning more about each other and the Belizean culture. We came back to the Global Hotel, had a short meeting with prayer and worship and are now heading off to bed for a good night sleep before church tomorrow.

Women's Ministry to the Rescue

by Jeniecia Sanker | August 8, 2012 11:33 PM

Today the women from Sand hill village had a great time laughing, talking and sharing about Jesus in their special group! Today the intense discussion about learning to not complain but to explain was very life-changing. The women gave their input about how it is hard to not complain especially when the situation is stagnant however the reminder of being patient and have faith and moreover using a faith-based language instead of a complaining language was really touching. After this great discussion the women started their craft of making some beautiful bracelets and learning to make their very own hand-made beads!!!!
