Ada Bible Church

We safely made it to the DR. Bonagua is the name of the community that we will be staying and serving in this week. We’re exited about what God is going to do this week.

This morning began very happy with dances and music in the Sunday school in Bonagua.  We talked about Daniel in the pit with lions - the children were very excited!

After lunch we wanted to help wash the dishes and clean the church. It was a very rewarding experience and we were so happy to serve in this way.

We went in to the community praying and also preaching the Gospel to the people.  We invited them to a service on Wednesday to spend quality time and listen to the message of the Lord.

One of the best things is that they managed to use Spanish, which was absolutely incredible and made people from the church happy.

We had an awesome day full of fun spending time with the kids from Moca singing and dancing!  God is Great and He is doing an amazing work in this community!

We had an awesome time during VBS with some children in the community.

This afternoon we visited the grandparents home in Moca City and it was a wonderful experience to be there.  We sang and talked to them, it was nice to be there. 

Some of the youth of our teams had the opportunity to share a wonderful message with the kids of Moca community and also spent time drawing with them.

Today we were so blessed to have the opportunity to visit the amazing elderly people in a nursing home in Moca.  Our team had the privilege to sing, connect, and interact with them in a such wonderful way.

Seeing the youth interacting with the elderly people in Moca was really incredible.  Spending quality time with them just to make them feel more appreciated  - they were so full of joy!

One of our youth team members, Joslynn, helping out an elder to get to the dining room after having a great time communicating.  It was an incredible moment.  God is doing amazing things in this awesome community.

The team also had the opportunity to play dominoes. The elderly showed them how it's played in Dominican Republic  - smashing them on the table!  It was so fun to watch!

Christy and Hannah from our team were telling the kids about the story of Moses.

It was all in Spanish, which was absolutely amazing! God is doing something new and wonderful in Moca.

As we were all having fun and enjoying this amazing moment at VBS, we also had the chance to dance together.

After story time and some funny dancing, we had the kids break up into different groups for different activities. One group made bracelets. It was such a fun activity to do with them, we all really enjoyed it!

Another group is drawing and having fun doing it!

We are working on building a stage and as well as laying tiles on the floor.  Our team members are really working hard!

It was so much fun working together as team and a family, I'm sure the Lord is very pleased with how our team is working together!

We had to destroy the current stage of ADA church so that we can build a new one.
