We enjoyed spending time in conversation with our host church leaders; hearing their story, and learning about the church community.

We feel blessed to serve alongside Pastor Wisly and the Iglesia Betesda :)

Today we were able to install water-filters into homes within the church community.  The water in the Dominican Republic is not safe to drink, therefore everyone must purchase water for cooking and consumption - - - - this is a financial hardship for many families.

Now, with these new water-filters - - - there is no more need to buy water!

These home water-filter are operated by gravity - - - no parts to replace, no need for electricity - - - - and they last for ten years or longer!

A huge blessing !

We spent time with each family, demonstrating the use of the filter, and providing instruction as to the care of the filter - - - to clean the filter once a week (a very simple procedure).

During our home visits, we developed a bond with each family, and enjoyed a fellowship and prayer time.
