Our team this week is continuing to work with that Canyon Hills spirit that we've come to know and love. We got right to work with our projects such as laying tile, mudding sheetrock, and pictured here, patching a roof.
Texturing walls, watering seeds

Some houses require a great deal of work and one team isn't always able to fully complete a house on their own. Thankfully Canyon Hills has two teams and together, each team makes significant progress on the home. Today, we finally finish the home the first team worked so hard on. One team plants a seed and the other team waters but God gives the growth.
Patching walls

Working together, worshipping together

Our team has done great this week preparing all the walls with joint compound, ensuring that it lasts for the long run. Hours of mudding and we are almost ready to paint! No matter what the work, all is done for the glory of God, this is true worship.

Restoring the home

Our team was hard at work putting up the last of the sheetrock today before the final prep work was to begin.
That's a wrap

We finally made it to our goal of painting. After a week of muddling, sanding, and mudding and sanding even more, we were finally ready to paint the walls, signifying that this house was almost in the final stage of rebuilding, ready for flooring and cabinets.
Making friends
