We have finally arrived on the beautiful island of Jamaica, we were happy to see the PPM staff happily waiting for us as we exited the airport with a warm welcoming smile. They brought us some Jamaican patty and coco bread for lunch which we have to admit was really tasty. We got loaded on our transport and headed off to our lodging facility where we will be spending the week. We are all ready for a fun time in Jamaica as we meet with the locals and mission onto then. Until then, toodles 😁

After a good night's rest we woke up to a cool Jamaica morning. We got ready for church before having a delicious breakfast which includes one of the Jamaican's favorite fried dumplings.
We loaded the buses and then left for the William Knibb Baptist Church where we will worship for the afternoon.
After we have lunch the we will split into our respective groups and head off for various infirmary's. More update to come later.🙂

What a great night we had last night during our first time together as Team 1. We spent some time chatting and getting to know each other. Several shared their testimony of Gods love and grace in their lives.
It was a wonderful time of sharing and we are super excited to spend the week together serving God, the people of Jamaica and each other.
We are loaded on the bus and ready to head to worship this morning at William Knibb Baptist Church. Were so excited to see what God has in store today.

Greetings and Fellowship with one another. What a welcoming church it is! So many smiles as everyone got out of their seats and welcomed us into their place of worship. It was truly a sweet time of hugs, hand shaking and conversation.

We are excited to serve here with each other. We also can't wait to see how God works in our lives.

Church today was really a blessing, it was a wonderful experience tp worship in a Jamaican church to see how much they love God.
It is time now for us to go visit the infirmary to meet with the residents and mission onto them and hear there stories but not after a little time of relaxation.
by Ryan Campbell | March 17, 2019 5:06 PM
It was such a moving moment, when some of tye guys from team 9 & 10 took the time out to pray for a resident of the St. James infirmary. They say, prayer move mountains and I am sure they all will be leveled in this person's life after their prayer.

We had so much fun talking with the people at the infirmary they sang to them and read the bible to them. It was a tearful one also but in all we loved it there. Please continue to pray for our team.

Hey Family ❤️
It was awesome watching Jesus hands and feet at St.Ann infirmary this afternoon.I was really chilled watching them dive right in and started to greet and meet people reading them scriptures, singing, talking and Loving on them. I am certain that lives were touched and relationships were built isn't that awesome?
by Cathy Kirk | March 17, 2019 8:35 PM
Kelsey and Tripp were truly the hands and feet of Christ today at Falmouth Infirmary as they sang and shared Gods word with the residents there. What a blessing it was to see the teams step out of their comfort zones and share Gods amazing love.

After dinner and a time of worship its now time for our small groups discussion.

Pete not knowing who this man was or why he was here gave him all the compassion he required by just sitting there for about 20 minutes and allowing him to rest on him.
True mercy and love

Good morning😊
We are off to VBS at Hastings primary.
Pray for the team for God's courage today as they step out of their comfort zones and spread the love of Christ to all the kids they come in contact with in the classrooms or at Hastings in general.

It's an excellent start to our day as Griffin leads the team of guys from Asbury in devotions before breakfast. Yeaaa!
by Andre (Andy) Eldemire | March 18, 2019 9:25 AM
Today is the day we have all being anticipating, the day when we get to go to our various schools to love on the kids that are there.
We woke early had our personal devo's and then left for the schools after we had breakfast. Teams seven, eight, nine and ten left for the Granville primary school were we will be spending the afternoon.
Arriving at the school the kids were happy to see us as well as the school staff. We were given a warm welcome by the principal Mr Gordon and then joined the schools morning devotions where we introduced ourselves.
Mote to come later 🙂

As we embark on our first day of school ministry we are reminded that we shouldn't be afraid or worried about what life, struggles or obstacles that comes our way cause God our father is with us all the way!
by Kareen Hunter | March 18, 2019 9:40 AM
What better way to start the day than a friendly game of bible puzzles in groups. Team #9 loved on each student in their class at the Granville Primary Infant School as they successfully completed their Brain teaser activity that was paired with a comforting bible verse on reassurance. Indeed there is no better way than to share and spread the undying love of God than to make it Funnnn!! #Go Team!!

VBS TIME
Let me hear you make some noise 😄😄
It has been great so far, the kids are out of their comfort zones completely. They are interacting with these kids, building relationships and touching hearts.
Quote of the day❤
If you always do what you've always done, you'll always be where you've always been. Get out of your comfort zone. The electric light did not come from the continuous improvement of candles, so evaluate what things you can give a chance for improvement and what you must change altogether....live your purpose on purpose Lovely, as for today Tuesday it shall be marvelously marvellous🤗

Day 2 at the school has been amazing, my highlight of the day was this sweet girl that I was talking to, wrote me a letter and it said that she loves me and I'm her best friend forever and she never wants me to go. I will always remember these kids and they are impacting my life just as much as I am impacting their lives.

Being on this trip I have experienced many things. I was expecting this trip to be pretty hard, but it has not been. The only hard part was getting through the 3 hour church service because I was not used to how long it was. The rest has been very cool. The infirmary was very eye opening and nothing like I was expecting. The schools are my favorite part because I love playing with the kids and getting to know them. The concrete work was tough but fun because of the group of people I was with, they made it fun and enjoyable. I can't wait for the rest of the week!

Quote of the day
Be Prepared to Push through your limitations. No one ever built a legacy by standing still. Once you set a goal, be prepared to push past every thing that stands in your way. (And sometimes pushing doesn’t look pretty 😀) Your MIND is the biggest OBSTACLE you have but it’s also your biggest source of POWER. Tap into it, Victory is guaranteed if you stay focused and live your purpose on purpose Lovely🤗

The children really enjoyed playing Double Double This. They couldn't get enough of it with the team this morning. What a great way to build relationships with the students through personal touch, one on one intentional interaction and showing them love. God is good!!

Today is our last day for doing projects, as we had no school in the morning we left straight for our project sites to see how much more we can get done. So we have gotten a lot done over the few days and after we are done here we will leave for the children's home afternoon lunch.

We are so grateful to be able to work this week and got a lot done with these kids it has been a blessing to the kids to experience mixing concrete so it was awesome. After a day of working they got ice cream before lunch so that was a great finishing for our work day. We visited the children's home and had a dance party with the people at the home. The kids loved every minute of it. We came home to some pizza and even more ice cream. I think today was the best day for them.

It was a great week of ministry God has been so good to us we can not complain. We got up, cleaned, breakfast, pack our luggage, gave our hugs and said our good byes. We have run our course for this year and we have finished our goal for this year so now back to training so we can run the race again next year. To all the sponsors for the kids here know that every kid or leader that I have been amongst has just out of their comfort zones and are coming home free and ready for what's ahead. Keep on praying for these young ones cause they have such a future for the kingdom of God. They are and forever will be called the
