Church of the Resurrection

We had an awesome first day cleaning out a storage shed and getting a chance to hear the story of the homeowner, Mrs. Precious. We finished the day by tearing the garage ceiling down.

The team arrived safely in Houston. Everyone is ready to go out into the community. Please keep us in prayer as we go out to work tomorrow.

For our second day, half of the team moved to a different job site. There, we learned how to put up drywall and tape and mud. Despite a very late start and less than desirable weather, the team was very enthusiastic to begin work. They had a very positive attitude and did not let anything bring them down.

This team had many siblings and mom/children teams, but they were all so connected in ways only a true family is. They poked fun at each other, were comforting shoulders, and were constant pillars of support for everyone around them.
