Bible Way Fellowship Baptist Church

Before church this morning, the team meets with a couple members of the church to figure out the details of VBS! 

The team works together to draw and cutout the props and scenery for VBS tomorrow! 

The team was able to worship with the Mount Zion congregation this morning! It was a great service!  

The team worked hard to finish the “Shipwrecked” scene for VBS tomorrow! 

Today, we worked on weeding and tilling a bit of the back yard garden area. More updates to come! 

This morning, we had a devotion lead by a couple of the team members. They talked about how actions speak louder than words! A great theme for day 2 of ministry work! 

Today, the team worked with the Produce Mobile to give free fruits and veggies to people of the community. The team bagged the produce, broke down boxes, distributed the food, and had a chance to mingle with the people of Evanston! 

The team worked with the older girls to make paper flower pens! So cute!! 

The team works together to finish up the mulching and weeding project at the church! It’s almost done! 

This afternoon, in addition to the garden work project, the team worked on building and spray painting 3 crosses to decorate the garden area! The crosses represent the 3 crosses that were present when Jesus was crucified. 

The boys group of VBS! They had tons of fun working together & bonding this week! 

The girl group from VBS this week! They worked on lots of painting & had tons of fun!!
