Refreshed and filled

by Tori Snyder | June 18, 2018 11:17 AM

Yesterday our team was able to attend 2 church services! The first was in the morning at our Lodging site and the second we ventured to in the late afternoon after spending a few hours at the global market!

It was a beautiful thing to see the diversity of the church looking at similarities and differences between the 2 churches! We were encouraged to recognize the main comparing factor that both congregations deeply love Jesus Christ!

Our team was filled up and refreshed in order to jump into further minsitry this morning and rest of the week!

Please continue to pray for our team as we bring the light of Christ into the community of Minneapolis!

Good in the Hood

by Tori Snyder | June 18, 2018 3:59 PM

This afternoon we have been hard at work sorting and organizing shoes! Good in the hood has the mission of "shoeing away hunger". This mission is done by receiving donations upon donations of shoes and then selling them at a low rate helping those that can't afford regular priced shoes still get nice shoes! The profit that is made from selling the donated shoes then directly goes to their local food shelf to buy food for those that also can't afford food!

This mission empowers those that are less fortunate to impact others lives as their own lifes are being impacted!! Overall our team is having a great time with all the shoes!!

Stone Arch Bridge Prayer Walk

by Tori Snyder | June 20, 2018 9:01 PM

Emotional night to say the least! Taking time to stop and reflect on what the Lord has been doing in our hearts this week! Our team walked across the Stone Arch Bridge tonight praying for Minneapolis for the Lord to bring the gospel, passion, justice, and Jesus to this city! We also had time to pray over our time back home and serving back in Illinois!

Our leaders also had the chance to lift each student up in prayer! Powerful evening!! Be sure to ask the team about what the Lord has been teaching them!
