Harmony Hill Baptist Church

Hi guys! We're all so excited to be in Nicaragua.  God is so faithful that He brought us safe! Now we are at the church in Sebaco ready for an amazing week.

Getting ready for today's activities. We are so excited to be part of the Sunday School, food distribution ministry and Church service at night!

We are so excited for the opportunity to share with Nicaraguan families. The Word of God becomes a reality because He said:  "It is more blessed to give than to receive."

What a beautiful moment when the worship goes beyond any language, country and culture. 

In our first day, we went to deliver some food to the houses in the name of Jesus and behalf of the local church.  It was such a great experience, seeing  people opening their hearts and houses to receive what Jesus  provided for them.  We gave them food, and they gave us love and thankfulness. Praise the Lord! Day one, done!

We had a beautiful experience today sharing the Gospel at a school. 

We always enjoy the stories of the Bible. 

There is no better way to end a productive day than eating ice cream.

What a great experience is to serve God! 

Today the Lord blessed with food this lady who received Christ when she was 20 and has persevered for 54 years!  She and her husband (who passed away 6 years ago) received Christ the same day and since then, they've honored God together.  What an example!

It is wonderful to hear what God has done in the lives of so many people. God is the same yesterday, today and always.  

After the word of God was given to the crowd on the street by pastor Todd, Pastor Salvador made the call to receive Christ and this man... was saved!  Praise the Lord! The Kingdom of God is growing! Alleluia!

Today we had the opportunity to share about how Jesus takes care of each one of us. It is amazing to hear stories from the students of how much love God has for us.  He has been protecting our lives from accidents and many other dangerous situations.  Because He has a purpose, we live through so many things to glorify His name, and we are still alive! Praise the Lord!

When we trust in Jesus, we can try to do something new and it may not work out the best.  But...the second time round is so much better!  And we can do things with more confidence.  We will never stop sharing about God's love.  What a great day!  VBS was a great experience! 

This is the effort finally revealed! The painting is now finished, showing us how much love God has for us.  This is a good reminder for all of the students from Lily of the valley School. God will never leave you!

Since we started this adventure we all had to cross barriers which were successfully crossed.  We did this to be able to see the Kingdom of God in action, his Holy spirit in action, his love put into practice, and our talents shining. Praise the Lord, we can say,  “Thus far the Lord has helped us.”
